👑 Royal School: Daniel was super smart! He and his three friends (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) were chosen for the Babylonian king's special school because they were the best and brightest from Jerusalem! They had to learn a new language, new customs, and even got new Babylonian names! 🤓

🍽️ The Veggie Challenge 🥦🥕
When Daniel first arrived in Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar wanted the young trainees to eat the king's fancy food and wine. 😮 Uh oh! This was a problem because the food wasn't prepared according to God's special rules for the Jewish people.
Daniel knew eating it would be disobeying God, but saying no to the KING sounded super scary! 😨
Instead of just giving in, Daniel came up with a clever plan:
He politely asked the official in charge if he and his friends could have just vegetables and water for ten days.
"After that," Daniel said, "compare us to the others eating the king's food!" 🤔
The official was worried (the king might get mad!), but Daniel was so respectful and confident that the official agreed. 🤞
For ten days, while others ate rich food, Daniel and his friends munched on veggies. And guess what? They looked stronger, healthier, and smarter than everyone else! God blessed their obedience for all to see! 🌟 This showed Daniel would stick with God no matter what!
🦁 Daniel and the Lions' Den 🙏
This EPIC adventure happened when Daniel was an old man working for King Darius of Persia. 👴 Daniel did such a great job that the king planned to put him in charge of the entire kingdom!
This made other officials super jealous. 😠 They couldn't find anything wrong with Daniel's work (he was totally honest!), so they tricked the king into making a sneaky law:
For 30 days, no one could pray to any god or person except King Darius.
The punishment? Being thrown into a den of hungry lions! 🦁
Daniel heard the law. Would he stop praying? 🤔 NOPE!
He believed talking to God was more important than safety. He went home, opened his windows facing Jerusalem (like always!), knelt down, and prayed and thanked God three times that day, just like usual. 🙏
The jealous officials spied on him and rushed to tell the king. King Darius was really upset because he liked Daniel, but the law couldn't be changed. 😥 With a heavy heart, he ordered Daniel into the lions' den, saying, "May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you!"
The king couldn't sleep all night. 😟 At dawn, he rushed to the den and called out, "Daniel! Was your God able to save you?" 🌅
An amazing voice replied: "O king, live forever! My God sent his angel to shut the lions' mouths! They haven't hurt me at all!" 😲
Daniel was completely safe! 🎉 The king was overjoyed, had Daniel lifted out, and dealt with the bad guys. Then, King Darius declared that everyone should respect Daniel's amazing God!
